Marie-Claire Klassen is a PhD candidate in Theology with a minor in Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame. Her dissertation research focuses on women’s perspectives on liberation theology within the Christian community in the Holy Land.

Before beginning her PhD, Marie-Claire worked for an NGO in Lesotho, Southern Africa which specialized in women’s health and education.
